The Monstera variegata is a popular house plant, which convinces with its green and white variegation. In addition, the shape of the leaves is very interesting because, in addition to the natural incisions in the leaves, from a certain size onwards, natural holes, so-called ’fenestrations’, are created, which are there so that the lower, hidden leaves can also be supplied with sunlight. For this reason, the Monstera is often also called ‘Swiss Cheese Plant’.
All parts of the plant are poisonous, can cause skin irritation and are not suitable for consumption! Keep away from children and pets.
